The Friday SCS Lakers U12s played excellently, beating the Phoenix Flames Bulls 37-8 to improve their record to 3-2-1. The Lakers were in charge of the game from start to finish. Their outstanding teamwork and balanced scoring kept the home crowd cheering throughout both halves.

 

The Lakers started the game quickly and never looked back. By halftime, they were in control with a score of 16–3. Jai Singh scored the first points with a smooth two-pointer, and the team kept up the pressure with help from many players. Josh Evans spearheaded the offensive in the first half, consistently scoring from both the field and the free-throw line. The Lakers' balanced attack included strong play from Xavier S and Ethan Espiritu, who each made important baskets that helped them build a big lead at halftime.

 

Kayson C took over the second half, scoring 12 more points to finish with 16 points on 7-15 shooting, making him the game's top scorer. Kayson made both of his three-point attempts, including two in a row that gave the Lakers an unassailable lead. This was the most impressive thing he did. Josh Evans kept playing well, scoring four more points to finish with nine for the game, even though he only made three of eight free throws. Jai Singh ended the scoring spree with a beautiful three-pointer, showing how much better the team is getting at shooting from outside.

 

This big win showed how deep and flexible the Lakers are, as every player helped the team win. The 29-point win shows that the team was effective on both offense and defense, as they held the Phoenix Flames Bulls to just 8 points. The Lakers are getting a lot of positive momentum and showing how to work together to win games with performances like this.
